I spent 10 yrs in a Bible Cult/Abusive Church... and the Giver, when assigned by my Children's Lit professor hit a little close to home for me... but I loved it.. and have read just about anything I can get my hands on by her... It's good to see that someone who's completed so many swaps still has a perfect track record! It's very reassuring.
Working as a teacher's aide must be cool, every class in my kid's primary school has one but sometimes I wonder if they do more work than the teacher!
I own two cats so I share a similar 'like' in anything cat related, but I've drawn the limit on getting more. My cats were rescues and I still feel guilty about all the ones that I had to leave behind.
I'm always on the lookout for a great author so I will hunt for Bruce Coville- have you read or heard of Louise Candlish? She's more of a chick lit author but you might like her work.
Congratulations on your almost-here newborn grandchild, you must be super excited. All those baby crafts you will be able to embark on!

I also like, The Giver, along with the other books in the trilogy.
I enjoy fantasies. One of my favorite necklaces from my mom, is a glass heart pendant with a unicorn etched inside.
My mother used to be a preschool teacher, and I'm considering going to school for it as well.
