T.O.U.G.H.: Boo-mail!

Have you heard of the Halloween “You’ve Been BOOed” tradition?

I thought I’d try a swap for us where we can put our own twist on it by sending a BOO in the mail this year.

If you’re not familiar with the original idea, it’s similar to a Secret Santa box or basket filled with goodies, typically left at your neighbor’s door, with a sign on it that says, “You’ve been BOO’ed!” I always thought of this tradition as a silly and sweet way to begin the fall season with kindness toward others.

Of course, since we're sending this through the mail (which can be costly), I am not going to require any set dollar amount, number of items, or anything restrictive.

The only swap requirements are to send your partner something that you think they'd enjoy, on-time, and in a "fun" manner.

You could mail a handmade card and include a tuck-in.

You can fill a vessel with themed smallish bits from the famous dollar-section at Target stores and ship it off with a note.

You can ship them a gifty from their wishlist and say "boo" with a surprise.

You (the sender) decide how to boo your partner in a frightfully-fun way!

Everyone who participates in this swap will receive a special "boo" from me too!
