WSS: Washi Around the World 2025

Do you have washi samples of different country themes?

For example, we have local artists in Singapore who designed washi tapes of local delicacies or iconic landmarks, something that’s unique to the county or city.

Also recently, I’ve stumbled across some cute, illustrated washi tapes depicting Egypt, Thailand and Germany.

If you do have those type of washi tapes in your stash, come share them in this swap!

📋 Swap Requirements

You will send your partner 6 (SIX) different country/city themed washi samples (ie one washi sample per country/city) to ONE (1) partner.

📏 Sample Specifications:

• Each sample must be at least 18 inches long
• Width should be at least 15mm (1.5cm) standard washi tape width
• Wrap samples around playing cards
• Mail in a lightly decorated envelope
• Rate your partner after receiving your swap

🎨 Design Guidelines:

• ✅ Each washi sample must contain designs unique to the country. Examples – 1) Eiffel tower, cafes, the Louvre for France/Paris 2) Big Ben, Double decker bus, maxi cab for England/London 3) Sumo wrestler, sushi, kimonos or Sakura flowers for Japan etc.
• ✅ 1 (ONE) country/city per washi sample
• ✅ Thin washi samples may be included as extras
• ❌ No plain solid pink washi tapes
• ❌ No plastic tapes, please

Don't forget to rate your partner after receiving your swap.

Important notice: Please log in at least 2 days before the swap deadline so that I know you are still active. Those who did not would be removed from the swap.
