YTPC: Grungy Texture Handmade Postcard

This is an international swap!

For this swap we will be following Mags Woodcock on Youtube. Mags uses recycled corrugated cardboard as the base. This is important because we are looking to create texture.

Your postcard you will send through the mail naked or in a clear sleeve.

Follow the youtube tutorial to create texture and layers. She uses gesso and infusion sprays. If you want to use other mediums that is fine, but make sure you can see the texture.

After you create your base, do your thing! You can paint, stamp, stencil, distress, draw, add a quote….. whatever your creative style is, feel free to show it!!

This is not a postcard about stickers or washi tape. You can add a photo like she does as a centerpiece, that’s fine, but this is not about stickerslapping.

Write a little note on the back about the mediums you used and don’t forget to add your swapbot name and the name of this swap on the postcard. This handmade postcard should just cost a stamp to send.
